Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet began in 2009 with the idea of having members of Crossroads Christian Church donate their “gently worn” clothes as an outreach to our community. We had our first Open House in April of 2009. We created a warm environment and had all the clothing organized by gender and size, providing cookies and coffee. We had donated any leftover clothing to various places such as the Salvation Army, etc. When we had our second, Open House, August of 2009, we decided that we wanted to have the clothes available all year for those in need. We have them well organized in bins so that at any time if someone is in need they can come and go through what we have available. We decided that we enjoy our Open Houses so much that beginning 2010 they will be quarterly events. We encourage you to come see what it’s all about.
